About Kate

Kate became a Physio to help people achieve their goals. She loves working with people from all walks of life and helping them through challenging times, overcoming injuries and assisting them to have the best quality of life possible.

Kate was exposed to Physiotherapy from an early age with netball injuries and fell in love with anatomy and the rehabilitation journey. She enjoys problem-solving and thinking outside the box for different people and conditions.

Graduating from the Australian Catholic University in 2015, Kate has experience working in both private and public sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. Her individualised and patient-orientated approach is a strong foundation to helping her clients achieve their goals and prevent injury.

Kate enjoys being outdoors and has previously trekked 800km from France across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. She has also assisted her clients in completing the same endeavor by providing guidance, support and encouragement.

You’ll find me in my spare time: Enjoying a variety of outdoor hobbies with my fiance, family and friends. I also love being down at the beach enjoying the sun and surf or volunteering as a lifesaver at Kings Beach.

My philosophy on Physiotherapy: I really enjoy giving our clients the tools to manage their own bodies and conditions. I want to empower our clients to have the best quality of life possible.

Favourite place on the Sunshine Coast: Moffat Beach - the most beautiful beach in the world.

“Physiotherapy, rehabilitation and movement looks different for everyone! I love putting on my detective hat and together making plans, finding solutions and developing management strategies which have a real meaningful impact in our client's lives." - Kate Harris, Embody Movement Physiotherapist.
