Physiotherapy Currimundi and Forest Glen
Embody Movement Physiotherapy
At Embody Movement Physiotherapy, our approach is based on a partnership between you and us. This starts with us knowing your story and understanding why you have come to us for help. Our Physiotherapists use a range of tools and techniques to help you move better including manual therapy, exercise, education and advice.
Our Physiotherapists in Currimundi and Forest Glen have decades of experience and expertise past their University Qualifications and are passionate about assisting you to achieve your wellness goals. We welcome new patients and no referral is needed.

Care beyond your consultation
Our Physiotherapy consultations focus on you as a whole. We listen to your story to understand what has brought you to seek help and connect all your information to factor in any elements impacting your symptoms, vitality and recovery.
Our longer appointment times ensure there’s time to understand your needs, diagnose the root cause of pain, provide treatment and offer an accurate prognosis so that you understand what’s ahead. We collaborate with you to formulate a management plan to recover.
After your consultation, we touch base to check how you are and ensure you have everything you need to support recovery between consults. We communicate with your health team (with your permission), so everyone involved in your care understands your management plan.
We can support you to improve strength, fitness and tolerance to activity through clear guidelines, exercise prescription (what is realistic for you) and easy to follow video or written programs via email. By entrusting us with your care, you will:
Understand your symptoms
Be provided with treatment for symptom relief
Be empowered to make decisions on what activities are safe to continue or reduce
Have a clear understanding of how long it will take to improve.
Most Physiotherapists consult at Currimundi and Forest Glen, giving you expert Physio care across the Sunshine Coast.

Our assessments go beyond surface-level examinations. We use specific tests to determine the root cause of your problem, your current function and the appropriate treatment to start you on the road to recovery.

We provide resources to enhance your self care, ensuring you feel supported, even between consultations. Our commitment to your success means offering regular check-ins and guidance to help keep you on track towards your goals.
5. Individualised care
We view your care in the context of your life. By collaborating with other professionals involved in your wellbeing, we ensure a cohesive approach towards your desired outcomes. If progress stalls, we adapt and explore alternatives.

A Physiotherapist is trained to assess and diagnose acute injuries (those that have just occurred), as well as symptoms that have been present for a long time. Often the sooner you understand your symptoms and how best to manage it, the better the outcome.
You don’t need a referral to see us, you can often save time and money coming to us first, and we can advise if further testing or advice from your GP or a specialist is required.
