Physiotherapy to addresses the symptoms and the cause
Paulo Silva
Physiotherapist | Pilates Instructor
Paulo is an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist with over 12 years of clinical experience across Brazil and Australia, working in musculoskeletal, emergency, ICU and cardiothoracic settings. He brings a comprehensive and hands-on approach to treatment, combining strong clinical reasoning with evidence-based practice.
Paulo has a particular interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain management and functional recovery. His treatments integrate manual therapy, exercise prescription and adjunct techniques such as dry needling, acupuncture and IASTM to optimise outcomes.
He believes in addressing not only the symptoms, but the underlying causes of dysfunction, empowering patients with the knowledge and tools to take control of their recovery. Paulo’s approach is structured, goal-oriented and tailored to each individual, aiming for long-term results rather than temporary relief.

About Paulo
Paulo’s journey into physiotherapy started with a strong desire to help people regain control over their bodies and lives. Over the past 12 years, he’s had the opportunity to work across very different clinical environments, from hospital settings such as ICU and emergency care to private musculoskeletal practice. This diverse experience has shaped the way he assesses and treat patients today.
Paulo moved from Brazil to Australia to expand his professional and personal horizons, which challenged him to adapt, grow and refine his clinical skills in a completely new environment. Throughout this journey, he has continued to invest in further training, including acupuncture and Pilates, to offer a more comprehensive and effective approach to treatment.
What drives Paulo is seeing patients progress, not only reducing pain, but returning to the activities that matter to them with confidence. He values clear communication, structured treatment plans and measurable outcomes. And his focus is always on delivering high-quality care that is both practical and sustainable in the long term.

My philosophy on Physiotherapy: Physiotherapy is about taking a biopsychosocial approach. Understanding each individual as a whole and tailoring treatment accordingly. It’s about using all available tools to provide the best care, improve comfort and enhance overall health and quality of life.
In my spare time you’ll find me: At the gym, spending time at the beach, or catching up with friends. I also really enjoy quiet time at home and being out in nature.
“Your hands can offer more than touch. They can bring comfort, care and real change when there’s genuine intention behind it.”
